LEXINGTON FUN FEST STUDENT ART SHOW 2008


Location: Lexington Town Hall

Dates: Monday, September 8th and Tuesday, September 9th - Deliver art work until 5 p.m. Tables will be set up outside the Eli Mack Room located at the stairwell in the basement of Town Hall.


Categorize Art: Tuesday, September 9th after 5:30 p.m., all art work will be categorized by grade and assembled on tables. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated. Contact Sharon at 237-9617

Judging: Wednesday, September 10th – a.m. One winner from each grade (K-12) will be chosen. All teachers will be notified Wednesday afternoon of winners in order to have the winners present at the reception.

Reception: Thursday September 11th, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. for all art show students, parents and teachers. Join us for refreshments. Winners will be announced at this time and certificates along with prizes for winners will be awarded. We are hoping to get the conference room this year. Signs will be posted on the doors of the Town Hall and / or call Sharon at 237-9617 for locations at Town Hall.

Type of Artwork: Teachers Choice


All winners will be announced at the Reception and at the Fun Fest on Sept. 20th 11:30 to 12:00 noon. All winners need to be present at the reception on Sept. 11th to pick up their certificate and award. If this is not possible, please let me know. Art work will be on display the entire day of Sept. 10th and 11th 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please pick up all art work starting at 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sept. 12th and also on Sept. 15th. Hope to see all students and teachers at the Reception on Sept. 11th. Good Luck to all artists. Thank you to all of our outstanding art teachers.
